Is the Qur’an Only for Muslims? 1. Qur’an’s Message Is Universal The Qur’an itself states clearly that it is a guidance for all people , not just for Muslims. “This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah.” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:2) “O mankind, there has come to you instruction from your Lord and healing for what is in the breasts and guidance and mercy for the believers.” (Surah Yunus 10:57) Here, “O mankind” means everyone — regardless of background or belief. 2.
